Professional Dancer and Choreographer Jessica Smith has been working in the entertainment industry for 10 years. Performing and creating shows in a broad range of styles. Jessica has been choreographing and dancing in some of Melbourne and Australia’s biggest corporate event with a number of different companies since she began her full time training in 2007 with Robert Sturrock at Industry Dance. Some of Jessica’s other choreography credits include Choreographing for the Melbourne Fashion Festival 2015 & 2016 including assistant choreographer for the Jean Paul Gaultier runway.
As Well as being trained in Jazz, Hip hop and all styles of commercial dance, Jessica is a highly sought after Latin Dancer specialising in Salsa and Brazilian Samba. Jessica worked at Copacabana Theatre Restaurant for 5 years performing in their Latin show as a Resident Dancer and was recently an International Guest Artist at the 2015 World Bachata Festival in Malaysia. Jessica also performs Latin shows around the world for Princess Cruises as a Guest Entertainer. Jessica is currently performing with 'The King of Pop Show' all over Australia including a huge show last year at Her Majesty’s Theatre Melbourne.
Some of Jessica’s television credits include; 'The Footy Show' Player Revue, Spicks and Specks, Thank God You’re Here and Rove. As well as dancing and choreographing Jessica teaches dance to students from primary school age to university level and adults in a range of different styles and abilities at some of the most popular dance schools and performance training institutes around Melbourne.
