Movement can nourish the body, the mind and the spirit on so many levels. We can invigorate, nurture, stretch and strengthen our bodies through movement (Asana). And if we incorporate breath control (pranayama) and a little mindfulness (Dhyana) we can gain a greater awareness that can serve ourselves and others around us. A regular practice can ease the body, assist with mental clarity, enhance your mood and assist our emotional wellbeing.
Brooke's creative slow flow classes are designed for those who love to move and explore the body's movement potential. Sessions are suited to all levels, Beginners and those wanting a more demanding physical practice.
Each class incorporates breath practice and finishes with a short relaxation (Shavasana).
(Brooke is available for guest workshops and school group practice as well as taking movement and yoga sessions for Preschool groups).
All props are provided including: Mats (thin & grippy), Blocks, Bolsters and straps. You are of course welcome to provide your own mat, especially if you want or need a thicker mat.
The Sassafras Hall is heated with ducted heating and is kept at a safe temperature for moving. This is not Hot Yoga.
Please bring: Water bottle, Warm jumper, wrap or blanket & eye pillow for relaxation (all optional)
Please wear: Appropriate and safe movement attire
Cost: $15 per class or $65 for 5 x sessions (Cash Only)
Please respect other yogis in the class and enter and exit the class quietly and leave your phones in your bags on silent or turned off. The hall is locked during the sessions so bags and belongings are safe.
There are forms to fill out for your first class that let me know a little bit about you and your current health, so come a little earlier on your first session.
